Thank you for visiting our site.  The Mariposa Avenue Church of Christ is a non-denominational church. Our goal is to be the same church that you find in the New Testament. You will find the only guide we have is the Word of God - THE BIBLE.

The Bible alone is our standard to live by. We are a growing congregation; God has blessed us with tremendous growth. We have many active ministries and many talented workers. Our desire is that you will visit with us  and continue to come and become a part of God's wonderful family here. If you have any questions, we will be glad to answer them for you. Our goal is to speak where the Bible Speaks as we are required to give you a Biblical answer for everything we believe.

We are honored you came our way. We count you as one of our friends; however, let me encourage you with these words - the best friend you will ever have is Jesus. Again, thank you for visiting our site.

In Our Thoughts and Prayers August 17, 2008

Those undergoing chemo. treatments: Sarah Neubauer, Peter Amstutz, Beverly Schroeder and Marie Fain.
Mike & Linda Lynskey are travelling; they will return Aug. 31. Gordon & Eleanor Roberts are travelling; they will return Aug. 24.
Roseville member Eve Trittipo is scheduled to have back surgery Sept. 24; however, she has had a major set-back with her health. If the doctor's can't get her stabilized, they will have to postpone the surgery.
Starve! Junious had knee replacement surgery this past week; pray for a speedy recovery.
George McCrea's sister Tilda Martin has early stage Alzheimer's.
Betty Blue's friend Gloria Yaw had surgery this past Wed. for a brain tumor.
Our elders and deacons as they endeavor to serve God and lead this congregation.
Our mission work, those in the military and those in need of spiritual strength.
